I just learned of Maria's passing. She was a beautiful person and would always put others before herself. I met Maria at the Pain Rehab Clinic here in Rochester and we shared some laughs as well as some tears. She was wonderful. Maria's love and compassion for others was admirable. She welcomed me to the family with open arms and I loved hearing her share her life stories. I am grateful that she is no longer in pain and that she is finally at peace with our Lord. RIP Maria~ until we meet again. Andrea

Dear Kasnowicz/LeMieux family,

My heart goes out to all of you on your sudden and tragic loss of our dear Maria. She will be deeply missed by so many of us!!
Maria was one of the kindest, sweetest, most giving and loving sisters in the Lord that I have ever known!

I met Maria on a bench outside of the Doubletree Hotel in beautiful, downtown Rochester, MN. We were both there for the same reason; to attend Mayo Clinic's Pain Rehab Clinic. It turned out that both of us were "talkers" and we became fast friends. We went to church toghether at ST. Mary's in Marne and then at West Catholic. Maria was my mentor in track. She was a great athlete and was always willing to help others. She taught me how to shot put. No one could throw like her! So sorry to hear about this shocking news! Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family~!
