Donald John Price, Sr. age 86 passed away peacefully on December 24, 2012. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Scully who passed away in 1955 and Susanne Mervenne who passed away in 1999, his parents Walter and Margaret, his four brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren Mary and Jacob Price. He is survived by his ten children, Mike (Doris), Tim (Julia), Katie (Chris) Smith, Sue (Mike) Bigelow, Mary Jo (Kent) Schmuck, Donald Jr., Charlie (Stacy), Ann (Bill) Fegel, Julie (Bill) Styles, Paul (Cassie), his twenty-seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, baby Hudson "on the way",sisters-in-law Louise Price, Phyllis Mervenne, Sandy (Fred) Ressell. Don worked for Kent County Road Commission for over 46 years. He especially enjoyed farming and watching football. Don also spent many weekends hunting with his sons on his northern Michigan property. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Jude Church. His family will receive visitors Friday 1-4pm and 6-9pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW. A Vigil Service will be held Friday at 8 pm. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wright , MI. (Private). Special thanks to Christina Fields for all the loving care she gave to our father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cambridge Manor (A Program of Baruch Senior Ministries). Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
