Mr. Richard Amos John of Grand Rapids born April 14, 1946 passed away to the creator Saturday December 22, 2012. Surviving are his wife Barbara J. John (Big Joe), his children: Richard Joseph John, Michael Allen John, stepson Tony Anderson, granddaughter Jade and Anthony. Laken and Alexandra. three great grandchildren, DeAndre, Demetrus, Terrilynn, his sisters: Carol VanConett, Eleanore Katchanago, Nyla Warren, other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Anderson, his mother Tilly Gould and father Charles Anewishki. Richard was a memeber of Grand Tarverse Band of the Odawa Chippewa Indians. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Leelanau Township Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Thursday 6-8 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW.
