Mrs. Wilma M. Rothenthaler, age 88, of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Wilma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Wilma will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Raymond; three children Ray (Linda) Rothenthaler, Carl Rothenthaler, Daniel (Mary Beth) Rothenthalerr; ten grandchildren, Sara, Brian (Kari), Anne, Renae (Jon), Ryan, Russell, Robby and Rachel, Aaron (Dori), and Jodi; her sister Marilyn (Frank) Bott, a brother Francis Steinebach, a brother-in-law, Al Fasel, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: twins, Joseph and Mary, at birth, and Marie Baynton, Joan Ross, Dorothy Homrich, Rita Pahl, Virginia Fasel, William Steinebach II and Joseph Steninbach, Junaita Steinebach; four sisters-in- law, Maxine Steinebach, Catherine Steinebach, Mary Steinebach and Mrs. Joseph Steinebach (Mary); four brothers-in- law , Louis Baynton, Martin Ross, Gene Pahl and Robert Homrich. Wilma was a longtime member of the Basilica of St. Adalbert where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am where she will lie in repose one hour prior. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary , 3525 Remembrance NW where a Vigil Service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm. In honor of Wilma, memorial contributions to Faith Hospice are appreciated. The family offers special thanks to the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and care.
