Missing my dad right now :( In Loving Memory James Abraham Vogel March 26, 1950 - Febuary 15, 2012. Now that I've come to the end of my Journey and have traveled my last worldly mile, please remember me by my smile. Remember some Good I have done and remember I've had loads of fun. I would not have you sad for a day;but in Summer just gather some flowers and remember the place where I lay. Come in the evening when the Sun paints the sky in the West, and stand for a few moments beside me and remember only my best. My Dad taught me everything I know. How to fish, drive a boat, play chess, a firm hand shake, how to lay tile and carpet, work with wood, paint, drive a car, ride a motorcycle, how to look a man in the eyes when you speak. Those are just a few of the many things he taught me to do. I was his oldest child and only son. Any time I had a question about anything he always had an answer. I was blessed to have almost 35 years on this earth with him and don't regret a minute of it. Tell you father, my grandfather Abraham William Vogel I miss him and love him. I love you Dad, always in my heart never forgotten. Rest in Peace. Forever your son, Joel William Vogel.

Well everyone says how quiet he was I guess I missed that, I saw it with everyone else but with me he always had something to say and it wasn't quiet!!! I always knew it was always out of love and that was just how he expressed it to me we had our own way and that can never be taken away from me I will hold it always and even if I may have disagreed at the time

I will always love him for that and everything else he taught me in the 32 years I was blessed enough to have him in my life, good or bad, quiet or loud he was the best dad I could ever ask for and I am what I am because of him and I just hope I can live up to everthing he wanted for me...... Daddy I love you and I was always listening and heard you even when my stubborn a** pretended to ignore you..... Big hugs and kisses always and forever every memory is stored and cherished......

Oh man....sooooo many memories I have of my dad. My dad was the quiet type, I guess that is where I get it from :) but once we get to know people that is when the personality shines :) Just to pick one memory is hard but some of the best memories is camping with him. He loved to take us fishing and boating....I will never forget all the good times out on the boat! I remember him teaching me

Well Uncle Jim was always quiet unlike the rest of the family. But I will never forget at a Christmas Gathering he was drinking Gin and Tonic he kept telling me come on taste it. I could tell by the little grin on his face he was up to something. I thought well it looks good, it must taste good. WELL he knew I was not going to like it, so soon I took a drink he started laughing as

So much has happened in the year's we have known Jim. We remember when Den and I were going together Jan and Jim would babysit for us. I think it was for Jeff most of the time.
