Mr. Robert W. Stephanak

Mr. Robert W. Stephanak age 88 of Grand Rapids Veteran of WWII passed away Monday February 20, 2012. Surviving are his wife of 60 years Rita M. Stephanak (Kline), children: Robert W. (Susan) Stephanak Jr. of Fishers , IN, Patricia (Nicholas) Kokx of Grand Rapids, James (Petey) Stephanak of Kalamazoo, MI., Mary (Rick) Nelsen of Byron Center, MI, grandchildren: Matthew Stephanak, Rachel Stephanak, Jonathan (Tava) Kokx, Tony (Jackie) Kokx, Meg (Shane) Duba, Emily Kokx (fiancée Joey Bishop), Alex Stephanak, Molly Stephanak, Amanda (Kyle), Rasche, Sara (Josh) Marlink, Mitchell Nelsen, Katie (Travis) Bravata, two great granddaughters: Nikyla Kokx, Rhylin Marlink, sisters in law: Marian Kline and Elsie Fix, brother in law John Schweitzer,
Thomas McGrath. several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Dolores J. McGrath. He was a member of St. James Church for 53 years and was a retiree of Steketee's and Rogers Department Stores. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Friday 10 am at St. James Church where he will repose one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW where a Rosary will be prayed Thursday 7:30 m. Memorial contributions to Lacks Cancer Center or St. James Church.
