Mrs. Vera J. Popma

Mrs. Vera J. Popma age 91 of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully Sunday February 19, 2012. She is survived by her children: James (Suzanne) Popma, John (Jo) Popma of Longview, Texas, her five grandchildren: James (Dawn) Popma Jr., Amy (Marty) Guerrero, Kim Miller, Kelly Trek, Joy (Greg) Gray, five great grandchildren, brother in law Harold (Irene) Popma, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Peter and Jessie Smith, her husband John Jr, sisters Irene and Nell and her brother Stewart. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday 10:30 am at St. Ann's Home Chapel 2161 Leonard St NW where the family will receive visitors one hour prior. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations to St. Ann's Home will be appreciated. A special thanks to Sister Gabriella and the entire staff at St. Ann's Home for all their help.
